AIRPORT – DAMBULLA / SIGIRIYA - APPROX 02 1⁄2 HRS DRIVE
“Ayubowan”– Welcome to Sri Lanka. Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, a
warm reception awaits you from our dedicated representative at Tangerine Tours and be escorted
to your vehicle to start your journey in Sri Lanka by proceeding to Dambulla / Sigiriya /
Habarana
Enroute visit Dambulla Cave Temple, A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, also known as
the Golden Temple of Dambulla, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest,
best- preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka.

Day 2
DAMBULLA - KANDY - APPROX 02 1⁄2 HRS DRIVE
After Breakfast visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the ancient rock citadel is a UNESCO World
Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka's most iconic landmarks with impressive frescoes, the Lion
Gate, gardens, moats, a mirror wall, and a royal palace on top.
Thereafter proceed to Kandy, Along your way you could stop at a Spice Garden in Matale where
scents of cinnamons, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace overpower the faculties.
Evening explore Kandy City, the hill capital of Sri Lanka which was declared as a UNESCO
World Heritage Site in 1988, is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains.
The Temple of the Tooth Relic is the jewel in the heart of the old city, captivating and majestic

Day 3
KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA – APPROX 03 HRS DRIVE
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, also known as "Little England," On your way along
you will pay the visit to Ramboda waterfalls.
Towering gracefully over the surrounding scenery, Ramboda Water Falls ranks as the eleventh
tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and also steeped in myth and legend which is the very spot where
God Hanuman famously leaped to Sri Lanka and paused during his quest to find Goddess Sita,

Ramboda Falls.
Further on, explore Tea Factory to experience the sights, smells, and tastes of tea production.

Hindu mythology, this is believed to be the place where Goddess Seetha was held captive by
King Ravana. On the rock face across the stream by the side of the temple are circular
depressions that are regarded to be the footprints of Hanuman.
Explore the enchanting Hakgala Botanical Garden, renowned for its breathtaking beauty and
diverse plant life with the lush landscapes, vibrant flowers and tranquil ponds, that is linked to
the mythical Ashoka Vatika, located in the vicinity of Hakgala, which is believed to be the
garden where Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, was held captive by the demon king Ravana from the
epic Ramayana.
Tee off at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, one of the oldest golf courses in Sri Lanka, surrounded
