Please review the following pointwise terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and adjustments:
-
Phased Cancellation Timeline: Refunds are calculated based on the number of days prior to the departure date that Traveolla receives your written cancellation notice:
-
30 or more days before departure: 100% refund of the package cost, minus any non-refundable advance supplier deposits (e.g., fixed airline blocks or non-refundable hotel rates).
-
15 to 29 days before departure: 50% refund of the total package cost.
-
Fewer than 15 days before departure: 100% non-refundable; no refunds or trip credits will be issued.
-
Supplier Penalties vs. Agency Fees: Independent of the timeline above, any strictly non-refundable vendor costs (such as low-cost airline tickets, train permits, or peak-season hotel bookings) cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
-
Written Request Mandatory: To be considered official, all cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by the primary traveler via email to Hola@traveolla.com. Time frames and penalties are computed based on the time stamp of the email received.
-
No-Show Policy: If a traveler fails to show up for a flight, hotel check-in, or scheduled tour without prior written notice, the booking will be treated as a "No-Show." No-shows are 100% non-refundable, and any onward or return travel segments may be automatically canceled by the carriers.
-
Unused Tour Components: No refunds or partial credits will be issued for any unused segments of a tour, including missed meals, unutilized hotel nights, skipped sightseeing tours, or early check-outs.
-
Travel Insurance Recommendation: Because life can be unpredictable, Traveolla strongly advises all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. A robust policy can safeguard your investment against unexpected medical emergencies, trip delays, or work constraints that force a last-minute cancellation.
